…Sierra Foothills grapes that are foot stomped…

Caleb has been working with Tony Coturri for over
two years, and before that was interning with natural producers in France, and before that was teaching/tutoring/writing in New York. Wine slowly, but surely, snuck into Caleb's life, and then took over ...

His label is called Caleb Leisure wines. The pet'nat is made with organic grapes from the iron-rich soils of
the Sierra Foothills vineyard with very red soils with some volcanic loam.

Made up of 90% Viognier, 5% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne that was picked at 23° brix.
Foot-stomped, a couple hours of skin contact
(almost a week of skins for both the Marsanne
and Roussanne). Natural yeast, fermented in a
neutral barrel, with no SO2 at any stage of the winemaking including at bottling.

The usual Coturri specs!
